VertFest

So the VertFest Rando Rally starts at 9:45am. Then the Freeride Blitz described as "an all-out sprint from Campbell Basin to the summit of the King and back" starts at 1pm.

This means you can probably do both of them.

Can we have divions based on your TAY post count? Only Ron and Charles have more posts than me

This thread deserves a bump since the event is almost a week away.

I just completed registering online. They are referring to the longer course (which is only ~4900vft) as the "elite" course. I'm certainly not an "elite", but I don't want to do the short course, so I registered for the long one. I hope I'm not the only non-elite choosing that. Is there a DFL award?

Next year, maybe it could be considered to just name the courses "short" and "long"?

Jeff, I also plan to race the long course and I am definitely non-elite.  One bonus of skiing the long course, besides the double-helping of suffering, will be the descent through Bear Pits  .  Should be fun.
