Awesome day winterizing my Natique (finally closed the door or just one more waterski ride )and blowing out the sprinklers ! I did discover that frozen leafs do blow very well on the lawn or the patio. and no, I did not lick the fence post just to see...

I skied Crystal Sunday and although they had the top closed I had fun skiing icy groomers with my narrowest skis.
It was brutally cold.

...Except us! Fantastic day for skichica and her chics. Both of the kids are coming along just fine in their appreciation of two plank travel! :) Met up with Chris Cass, and another non-TAYer, tried to cajole Scotty and Joe into a run with us, and spent the day lapping Queens with Downhill for diversion.

The only sour pill of the day was brown bagging in the Campbell dining area... I believe there were 10 people in there? Maybe? Two of our party purchased a drink and soup. The kids and I were eating our homemade delectables when one employee came by pulled up a chair and warned us, "I see that you are eating here, and I am going to let it slide this once, but you cannot be eating your own food here. We have a brown bag area just for you in the basement of the base lodge, so I won't ask you to leave right now, but you have been informed." So... I was a bit of a smartass and asked if he would be ticketing us for our non-compliant presence... hopefully I didn't plant any ideas in his head... He left with a reminder for all of us that we had been warned. Thank you. And now so have all you...  >:(

May I offer a bit of advice.? Sit on the east side of the building. Kind of out of site out of mind for the food service workers. Plus you can look out at the King and not be bothered by anyone.

At least that is what I have done since the lodge opened. And have never been bothered. I usually buy a cup of coffee, but that is it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. After all, you are a paying customer and paying those food service workers wages. As a lift op at Crystal., I thank you for coming up and skiing. We welcome all skiiers and all lunch ers , brown baggers or Summit Haus eaters. You are all our faithful customers. Thank you!!

It all depends who's on shift, who can ski what terrain, what your favorite chair is, and basically the supervisors choice of who to put where.

Personally, I like to work Ch 6. But, any chair is good on any given day. Because being in the mountains any where any time is good.

See you on the mountain. Be safe and stay warm.

Thanks for skiing Crystal Mt. :D
