How did you summit?
I skied the SE aspect, typical hayrick butte tour! Skinned in on the snowmobile track, and took a right just before the open glad on the SE corner.
Was debating heading there for my SB this year, third week of March. I've never skied in Eastern OR before, think it might be too late in the season? Kinda depends on how the next month delivers...

I actually went a new way this time; I crossed the bridge and went from White River East as opposed to West. This allowed me to not do the river crossing, but it was a long traverse in some dense tree...
Thanks for noticing! I am hoping to inspire more from the OR region to post on here. There's a lot of great routes to be had, but hard to find current beta.
