We spent two nights above Snow Grass near PCT, the snow coverage was pretty good all sides except near ridge tops.  We went over by Ives's shoulder and had to look for a way to get down to the snow.  Old Snowy is all snow on East side but the usual bare and loose saddle on West.  The best skiing was into McCall Basin, the coverage there was good and the snow smooth.

Adams looking inviting:

Great trip report and photos. Brings back memories.😀

Beautiful pictures!

Myself, I found great skiing above 6k ft, exept on steeper sun exposed slopes.

I skied Snowgrass flats to Johnson Pk and back.  The difficulties on the trail getting to Goat Lk have probably melted out by now.  When you get soft corn over frozen snow, it can all slide away.

I want to frame that photo of Adams. Thanks for the TR.

We were interested in getting over to Goat lake area, but wondered how the approach would be.  Maybe next time...

Great report Kenji and stunning photos as usual. Way to get out there and thanks for sharing

Thanks again for the photos, Kenji. They were really helpful for our trip to N side Adams last weekend.
