Thanks for the contrast pics. I was going to search for the new Muir cam link and found one better.
Its amazing how we go so distinctly from summer to winter around here. It was as if the winter switch was thrown Thursday. I promptly responded with a swap back to snow tires and plans to use them Wednesday.
I'm guessing there will be a TAY gang waiting at the gate tomorrow morning.
Any bets on when the gate will open?

Lots of webcam snow at Whistler today, too. Snow began falling atop Whistler Peak at around 3pm Monday afternoon. They've recently upgraded 3 of their webcams ( www.whistlerblackcomb.com/the-mountain/web-cams/ ) to give 1280x720 HD images (Whistler Roundhouse, Whistler Peak, and Blackcomb -- which despite what it says on the site, is no longer at Rendezvous Lodge 1860 m / 6100 ft, and is currently mounted at Horstman Hut at the top of 7th Heaven, about 2240 m / 7350 ft).
Some images from the Whistler Roundhouse cam at 1850 m / 6070 ft on Tuesday morning:
The gate should still be open 24 hours a day, the nighttime closures generally don't start until after November 1.

Even this late in the morning, Tahoma's not the only peak with webcam snow:

a couple inches of snow in an empty parking lot and a mustang looks like a fun way to wait for more snow to pile up
