Everybody to the limit! Great thread! Amar, you're killing it! I'm enjoying the pics of snow.
The only thing missing here is Scotsman.
We had snow on the peaks in New Mexico over the weekend but it's pretty much gone now except for a subtle highlight on the Truchas Peaks.

Did somebody call?
Yeah, nice termination dust but I ain't getting excited until I can skin from the parking lot.
All this "irrational exuberance" is going to jinx the season and it'll be Amar's fault.
Don't come crying to me when you're still skiing sun cups in December because you've jinxed it.
Garybrill nearly jinxed the season a week ago and now this.
Jeeeeesssssssuss...this is simple physics people. :
Quantum Theory Demonstrated: Observation Affects Reality

"In a study reported in the February 26 issue of Nature (Vol. 391, pp. 871-874), researchers at the Weizmann Institute of Science have now conducted a highly controlled experiment demonstrating how a beam of electrons is affected by the act of being observed. The experiment revealed that the greater the amount of "watching," the greater the observer's influence on what actually takes place.

Went up last night, left paradise at 10pm. Wish I would have stayed home. It was bullet ice a lot of the snow field and my tlt5 performance broke on their first tour.
We turned around and post holed to about 7500 to more ice.
