Kane Hall on Google Maps .

If a pedestrian can't direct you to "Kane Hall", ask for directions to Red Square (webcam on Kane). Kane Hall is the north end of the large brick plaza (which sits atop the parking garage), next to the inverted obelisk.

Parking: Free in most lots on campus on Sundays (check for loading/1-2hr signs). Gatehouses are not staffed Sundays. Free parking appears to include the Central Garage (entrance at 15th and NE 41st St). Backup: Surface lots near the Burke Museum (45th and 17th Ave NE, walk 300 yards S to Kane).

Drop-off: an easy option is to enter campus from the north entrance (45th and 17th Ave NE). Drive straight south until you reach a turn-around cul-de-sac with a central memorial.  Kane Hall is the big building SE of the memorial. No permit needed; just drive in.

Lunch: on-campus options are limited on Sunday. One block W of campus, the "Ave" (University Way NE), has scores of restaurants from which to choose, fast and affordable.

Transit: Bus service to campus is ample, frequent, and convenient to Kane. The Burke-Gilman bike trail runs beside campus (don't forget a lock).

Thank-you all for your help in providing the Beta on parking/lunch/etc. I appreciate the support you show to the TAY membership, and to me personally as I start to get buried in details as NSAS approaches.....

I had to leave at noon, but I judge the morning to be as fun as any good ski day and way more social. Great event! Packed out Kane Hall filled with mountain folk. Great presentations and good coffee too. Worth the drive from Wenatchee for sure. Thanks for a great morning. Wish I could have stayed for the afternoon!

Thanks for an awesome time! I'm looking for photos of the awards moment, especially those of Martin Volken and MJ getting their plaques - if you have photos you're willing to share please send me a message!
