where to mount? Dynafit STs on rossi S7 was created by steadyski
OK, I've read some and talked to some about where to mount my St's on 188 rossi S7. i ski a lot of different terrain but my love is for powder in the trees. I'm 65, 5' 9" 165 lbs. i ski fast and am moderately aggressive. the options appear to be +1, boot center, -2. Any thoughts would be welcome and I know i got carried away buying these but couldn't help myself when rei was selling them for $400.

I mounted mine +3, but I like to land backwards every once in awhile. The tips do like to dive on the really deep heavy days... Buddy mounted his at 0 and it skis more like a traditional mount ski and is not as twitchy. Never skied a negative mount s7 though.

Why not demo some, note where your boot sole mid-point lines up, and decide how they work for you? Probably safer than soliciting advice from strangers on a ski forum . . .

Try Crystal Mt. (360-663-3043) - though it's pretty late in the season and the 2012 skis may have been sold off.

Boot center or 3/8" forward . With a 17 m turning radius me thinks you won't have any trouble initiating turn.
