That's an interesting comment, would you mind ellaborating on why you think so? I ask because I've two friends who don't like that and are contemplating adding a shim under the heel. Going to be mounting my freedoms in the next week...woot!
Well, I like being flat on the ski. I think the heel high orientation of almost all tele bindings contributes to the over the bars feeling you often get. I like a lot of ankle flex and I find it easier with the low heel of the Freedom. I have no trouble getting forward on my skis and don't need the binding to do this for me. I believe people have the same issue with Dynafits because of the Delta angle of the binding, that's why they shim the toe.
I think people should give it a while before shimming the heel, it's very neutral feeling to me.
