5400-10040' = about 2700 v.f. If 1000 feet an hour is what most of us can do, andyski has a good estimate for you.
You're on the east coast, right? 60s and still getting out? The last thousand feet are much longer than the rest, but from your posts and photos I'd say Muir should definitely be on your tick list and will be manageable and memorable.

Some of my ascents are done in "Low Aerobic Minimal Exertion" or LAME time.
5400-10040' = about 2700 v.f. If 1000 feet an hour is what most of us can do, andyski has a good estimate for you.

Weird math? 5450 to 10, 200 = 4,800 +/-; 1,000 vft/hr sustained over 4800 vft is pretty good for old folks = 4.8 hours w/o stops.
