I stand by my actions, the ski was not stashed, it was one lone ski, I noted it on the way up, and the way down. BTW, isn't it against NPS rules to stash gear? I'm pretty sure as a ranger you should probably write yourself a ticket or something.

We found a K2 Shuksan with Dynafit on Mt. Hood today. I asked my ski partner Nick the age-old question:
Why do you only lose one sock or ski? ???
We turned it in to the ski shop at the day lodge.

Maybe it was lost during the winter, IE under fresh snow, then melted out?

Could be; it had a powder leash on it.
On the main point again, it's cool the way that the skis returning turned out well.

Do you get GNAR points for "rescuing" someones skis?
