Ronj, I for one appreciate what you are doing in making the phone calls and trying to facilitate a meeting. I think it's great and thank you for it.
You are carefully injecting your opinion into your responses and making it clear you think that the " complainers" are conspiracy nuts and I have absolutely no problem with that either.
You may be right................probably are....................................................................... ..
you may be wrong also and being used as an effective message boy by the Park as you have cultivated a fairly cosy relationship with them and had many interactions with them over the "annual slush cup" escapades of which you are rightly proud to have been one of the founders of and you have deleted posts of people who complained and were negative of last years event.
Nevertheless, many clever, rational, educated, civil, polite, left leaning, park loving skiers that I am in communication with both privately,on other web sites and regularly meet with have information, data, first hand reports, personal dealing with the Super that suggest otherwise.
Most of the group who won the first case were so disgusted with the NPS and their demeanor, obstructionism, outright lying and lack of veracity that they openly question , and have done so on this site, any communications from the NPS. You know many of these people personally and YOU know that they are not rabble rousers or conspiracy nuts.
Fact is the NPS has lost trust with a lot of BC skiers who use the park and that's regrettable as nobody loves the park more than these people and rather than be enemies they could be valuable partners to the Park if only that trust could be regained.
Anyway, I'm done for the year. We have this same discussion every year and nobody picks up the ball although I must admit you have certainly helped move it along and for that I thank you.
If we had manged to form a group my suggestion for it's name was.
