Spark R & D revolutionizing splitboard bindings was created by Kyle Miller
I have been fortanute enough to meet Will Ritter owner of spark R & D and he is one of the coolest/nicest guys you could ever tour with. Within the past few weeks he has introduced the Fuse bindings the latest in there splitboard binding arsenal and a huge step in the progression of splitboarding. At this moment they are being featured in the ISPO brandnew company portrait. To check them out and learn more about the Fuse click

I'm waiting on a review of the new light Voile binding and to hopefully see a new binding setup from the Alpental twins due in January, called Karakoram. Depending how things work out I'll be upgrading my highrise setup to Spark fuse, Voile or the Karakoram. Certainly the most trusted out there would be the fuse given R&D's track record and the fact Voile have never made a snowboard binding etc. I do like the Voile binding pull cord though. The guy who wrote "Staying alive in avalanche terrain" mentioned this as a pitfall of snowboard's. Might be handy in a treewell incident also.

You pretty much summed up my feelings. In general I don't like to buy anything when it is a companies first try (Voiles bindings) but I really do like the pull cord idea. I think I spoke with one of the brothers about his binding idea up at alpental but he wouldn't go in depth as Im sure he thought I was a splitboard gaper. Its not like I post all over the internet
.

I have not heard about the Karakoram bindings, but another player in the market should be good for innovation. Good luck guys! Kyle, thanks for mentioning them.

Does anyone know if any of these bindings will be compatible with big feet. After the reviews are in I would like to get a pair but I wear size 13 boots.

I wear size 13 as well so i don't think it will be a problem. I should have a pair in the next few weeks so if you want I can PM you.
