Yep - the Spark's rock! The new Voile's are about the same weight as the Spark Fuse's, but I like the Spark crampons quite a bit more than Voile's...........

Kyle,

Please put up a review when you ride on the Spark Fuse. Thanks.

+1 for rocking sparks. Have been using mine for a year now. They skin better with the outside contact and the ride down feels like I'm on a solid board. Now if I could just get my new venture storm to go with them. :)

Saw the karakoram guy, Tyler in the parking lot today at Alpental.  His split bindings are beautiful, and look like they should be some serious competition.  His attachments should allow for super quick transition times.  Just checked out his site Karakorambc.com , but has no good pictures of actual binding or a working contact link.  I guess he cnc'd these in his garage.  If he can get his production up and running, these look like a very nice option.   If I had a splitter, I would be begging for a pair of these.

Kyle knows my kidding is all in fun, but for the record Voile has made an awesome, ultralight snowboard binding for at least six years. I love my Mountain Plates, and can personally vouch for their durability and sweet design.

And yes, I do get that "surfy feel" in my mostly unbuckled AT boots.

I wish you "lace-booters" all the best, though- I need partners...

How do you get the fore/aft stability with that set up? I use something similar, but I can't really ride on hard snow because I can't pressure my edges properly.

It looks like the new Voile bindings have a pullcord to release the buckles in an emergency. Does the Fuse have anything similar?
