I've used the Voile plate binder w/ my old BD Terminators for about 10 yrs. and have been very satisfied. I don't make skiers wait at transitions. They have been very reliable too. A buddy has the FUSE coming in the mail over the weekend I believe. He is very excited. We can then do a side-by-side comparison.

I don't notice any problem getting pressure to the edge. I might crank the boot a bit tighter for hard snow, but not too much. I use the same boots with very stiff plate bindings (Catek) for my lift serve board, and the extra flex on the mountain plates is kind of seductive on hard snow. On softer snow I like the instant boot to edge, no play response of stiff plates. I know it is weird. I keep thinking about the Bomber split bindings but I have spare bails for the voile in my pack already...How do you get the fore/aft stability with that set up? I use something similar, but I can't really ride on hard snow because I can't pressure my edges properly.
