Seconded. I chose my phone model deliberately because it could show the telemetry pages formatted more or less correctly, depending on the location. The new layout makes this even worse.

I would not mind scrolling past an ad to get the data, but the raw info needs to line up or it is impossible to read easily on mobile equipment. Perhaps a separate portal with a big fat flashing ad on the first screen?

Kinda of my thoughts too. I'd like to see an option to view telemetry without the extra stuff.

I like the updates. The clickable map is great and the scale is handy - green means go!
It would be a one stop shop for me if the links for snotel and telemetry data were right there as well.

I have to agree with everyone on still having a ACSI text version available as well.  I took the NWAC survey a long time ago, and I remember this question on the survey.  Having a computer friendly, "pretty" version is important, but as Squakmtn already mentioned sometimes final decisions are made en-route, on-the-fly.  Until the moblie phone market starts humanely pricing devices with full on browsers, I think it is mandatory for at least someone to have a plain text version available.
Using a script he made, Amar previously hosted the 10 day concatenated version of the telemetry on his personal web site at: www.skimountaineer.com/CascadeSki/CascadeSnowNWAC-TenDay.html (I love his site!)  I like that the NWAC was keen to that fact, and decided to do a 10 day version on their own site.  Although currently broken, I know with some adjusting Amar's script will work again.  My point being that his version could easily be served as plain text and as it is currently, wrapped inside of his own site.  Going beyond all that, we should not have to look to Amar or his site to give us telemetry in a form in which we need.  The NWAC should be able to do this with minimal hassle.  As a side note I volunteer to host a script on my personal site as well, I would just need to write one up first.
I tremendously appreciate the effort NWAC has made to enhance their website and thank them for the invaluable forecasts they provide.

Yikes! Hope the NWAC is not leading us into Powerpoint mode, use the picture not the facts to make decisions?! NWAC, please continue the detailed discussions for the old folks who prefer to read as well as look.

I kid, I kid - actually I would have put level 1-3 means go but I didn't want to be too provoking. Obviously the stoplight graphic has to be used with some understanding.

I do want to pass on my appreciaton of the new look to the site though. Change is good. I especially like the trend toward clickable maps. I wish there could be more sharing of the different types of data housed everywhere. A map one could click for a location specific dashboard would be really cool. I suppose ownership of different trip reports, forecasts of weather and avies, incident histories etc prevents this but I think all the individual sites could enjoy traffic sharing and even some economies of scale if they collaborated and housed their data together.

I've been experimenting with extracting useful info for skiers from the NWAC data for a few years now, and I just launched a new version of it:

cascadecrud.com

My next challenge is going to be finding a way to display the tabular NWAC data in a more readable way, and optimize it for mobile phones.
