The new mtn weather forecast is a whole lot easier to read.

I agree!! I like the tables!
Overall very nice, Crystal kinda gets left out on their own on the weather reports based on location.
The last few years I have been taking the Central and South report and splitting the difference for the snow levels and it seems to work out right for Crystal. It seems to hedge slightly on the south snow level more than the central.
One thing I do not understand, on the Quantitative Precipitation there is a day 1 and a day 2. Not sure what days those are specifically?
Am I missing an explanation?
Overall it's great to read a report on NWAC, much better than the local forecasts for mountain weather. I wonder why there is such a difference?

Is the Weather Links page still relevant on TAY given all the same info is contained on the NWAC sight? Couldn't the link redirect you to that website? Just a thought. The interface between the two sites is kind of cumbersome.

For a few days after the new NWAC site appeared, I found the redirect to NWAC very cumbersome. Then it seems Charles fixed that. Is there something you still find problematic?

I find the Weather Links page on TAY very valuable, great to have everything I need for skiing at one website: telemetry, forecast, and recent field reports. Oh, and I forgot social networking, too!Is the Weather Links page still relevant on TAY given all the same info is contained on the NWAC sight? Couldn't the link redirect you to that website? Yeah, I guess I hadn't looked at it since they first started the new site. Looks good now, the original format was cumbersome. I have been going to my bookmark for NWAC for the data, it's nice that they have most of the info that's listed here. Thanks again for the Dynafits, I will try them out tomorrow. I think the brakes are 92mm because they fit my Stelvios perfectly.

The weather links, mountain conditions, NWAC snowdepth climatog link goes to a page that doesn't exist, not that I have a problem with it..
But a question for NWAC , maybe..?.. does NWAC employ an data from the NRCS Snotel bank? I haven't found reference to it, but was just wondering.. there's maybe close to a thousand reporting sites in the West and while they were setup more for Ag and conservation people (water equivalent, basin effects etc) they have a couple of graphics that are a great quick view of western snowdepths and recent changes.
Like the new tables..
