'Tis true I come from from humble highland stock and are but a plebeian, but my dog thinks I'm a king.LOL What about the present horrors of multiple mountaineer "classes" deciding to coopt the Paradise Valley Rd in the winter? As far as RMI goes, they're professionals leading high paying clients and Scottie is a peasant. ;_)

1. It's irresponsible for the downhill not to yield to the uphill traveler
- downhill travelers have harder time stopping in a fall or slide
- uphill is working harder and best to leave them in rhythm
(don't yield to an uphiller who steps out of the way to rest)
2. When hiking uphill OR downhill, it's SMART to get out of the way of MULE TRAINS even if you dont care about damaging the trail...
3. Its in the skiiers code of conduct (and your drivers handbook) to yield to oncoming traffic when entering the slope/highway, duuhhh!?!?!?
SOOOOOO CLICHE - including the one-eyed and one-legged men in your travel decisions

Why is this difficult?
1. It's irresponsible for the downhill not to yield to the uphill traveler
- downhill travelers have harder time stopping in a fall or slide
- uphill is working harder and best to leave them in rhythm

Heh... you answered your own question, in my book...
But let's get back to planning Scotty's coronation. I'm thinking I'll make his crown out of ptex and edge material.
