So glad the weather gods blessed us. We great to put names and faces to screen names, meet new friends and connect with old ones. Another beautiful day in a beautiful place.

Greg, photo 18 is just begging for a caption, it is too funny, something seems madly inappropriate about the situation, although there was nothing going on. HAHAHA

Iwishicouldagone! I had plans so I clipped bolts in North Bend Sat.
I still open Jerry's 2006 video every few months and play it.... 8)

Awesome to witness the probable first descent of campbell basin lodges roof.

Did anyone grab a orange camping bowl with grey lid that I may have left up there?

Mr. Knee's skiing out of the dogalanche was something to witness.....

Mr. Knees is my father. ;) Rob, I saw the orange bowl as I was leaving, but didn't grab it. Thanks, everybody for a great time, and not leaving me twisting in the wind with the keg! We netted about $30 over the cost of the "root" beer, so I'll pass on the difference to the NWAC.

I can't wait to see the pictures of Mr. Moscawulff tele skiing down with the keg slung over his shoulder. I've always said watching Brad ski is like watching water flow down hill. Now I envision beer cascading down!

Well Mr Rustyknees I'm not quite sure how to take that analogy. Water will flow the path of least resistance; are you implicating I take the easiest way down?!?  ;)

Anyhow, thanks to Justin and Don for mule-ing up the pony keg. It was great to shake hands, throw shakas, share food, laughs and beers with so many amazing people from the TAY community…can’t wait to do it again next year!

A quick snow report: Ed (Kneel Turner) and I hiked up the Throne and found the skiing much better than expected. Crystal received a dusting to a couple inches the night prior and the new surface snow turned to mush in the wonderful sunshine. The secondary surface was mushy corn, with a result of a fairly wet and heavy snowpack. However the snow didn’t suck you in so long as you jump turned a bit and went with the flow. Surface wet snow debris made you work a bit harder, however the groomers were creamy and smooth. Although maybe by that point the beer had sedated the senses enough that anything would feel that way...mmm, beer induced creamy snow sensation...

As I heard Don mention several times throughout the day, “Life is good!” Here’s to wishing everyone a wonderful summer of wide open field, and patches, or creamed corn! Cheers!
