Conditions should be highly variable by location (because of differences in new snow depth and pre-storm conditions), by elevation because of bonding differences and also the strength of the underlying crust, and by aspect particularly when the sun comes out.
Good questions to ask will be how good is the bond and stability of the new snow and is the underlying crust supportive. There should still be unsettled, lower density wet snow underlying the crust especially up to 5500' to possibly 6500' in the North Cascades.
