Funny … back in second and third grade we'd sometimes refer to girls as "grills".
I won't be able to make it but if it's looking like there'll be a shortage of, uh, barbecues, someone can come to West Seattle and borrow mine; it's about 10" x 18".

Was that a typo? Did you mean girls?

I spent a nice morning skiing at Crystal today. It was beautiful up there. A little new snow made all the slopes clean and white.
The pistes below the Campbell Basin lodge have received only a little new snow since the ski area closed. Easy skinning up. There's more new snow above the elevation of the lodge. I found some pretty decent powder on the north sides of Threeway Peak and Silver King, although it was wind affected in places. South and east aspects were more more sun affected, but not as mushy as I thought they might be. During my morning tour the freezing level didn't seem too high yet. There was a cool breeze. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
The "Skubags" (Skoog-Subak family) should be there tomorrow, and I'll bring a donation to put in the kitty for TAY. Hope to see you there!

Pretty clever Justin.
We missed you too!
Nonetheless, the Cassman and crew did "almost" as well as you with the refreshments.
A great time was had by all.
Jeanette and I were marveling on the way home at how well this function seems to go with no one running the show and just about no organization.
Great tasty treats, everyone sharing, Great to see new faces and old.
Let's do it again next year.
In the mean time, Sourdough Chutes next then the Slush Cup!!!
