... If anyone has an extra pair of AT bindings (preferably not dynafits, for adjustability sake) that I can borrow, and can get them to me by Sat night, I can mount them onto our reverse sidecut super fatties.

Kelvin - I have a set of Dynafit Rental Plates (which allow for over 2 inches of boot size adjustment with Dynafit bindings) which I would be honored to donate to SKIBUILDERS.COM in exchange for the hopes of sometime, possibly at a future Crystal Ski Fest, getting to demo some of your cool skis mounted up with Dynafits.  I just put them in my duffel for this weekend.  Don't let me forget to hand them off to you.

Went into Silver Basin this morning, snow was good from parking lot up Quicksilver lift. Because of cloud cover last night it was a little soft up high in Silver Basin but has been good earlier in the week on East Peak. Feezing nights and warm days should make for a great weekend fest at Crystal. The signs are up notifying people that it is closed to snow machines and there was no sign of them so all is well, enjoy and have a great weekend.

Hey, Bob - Thanks for doing the recon for us.  Nice to hear that the snow mo's won't be out this year.  Although, I must say, the last year we did the 'fest, when the 'bilers discovered us up in the Campbell Basin they stayed clear away from that area after that.  In that respect they were pretty considerate sledders.
Hope you can make it up to have a run with us.  But if you can't, we'll understand...  We know Sunday is a busy "work day" for you.   Either way we'll encourage everone to stop by WAPITI WOOLIES in Greenwater for a mocha or latte on the way home.

Most of the sledders at Crystal are skiers so they understand what we are doing up there when the lifts are closed. I'll try to make it up for a early morning skin on Sunday and see what's up. Thanks for the plug but I like to keep this page from being commercialized, I really enjoy it and want it to remain just about skiing and having fun.
