S - oh, I know a troll when I see one! It was fun thinking about, thank you. Having fun is absolutely the name of the game.

I want to express my deepest appreciation for the skiers that used to lay tracks for me... before I got my skins and even before I got snowshoes... went for a walk down the highway out of the far end of the Paradise parking lot. There was true deep powder there... I could walk on the ski track, but if I stepped off, I would sink up to my crotch. I really appreciated the ski tracks!

When I was in my hiking days... I figured that whoever made the tracks was history. Now, what has really bugged me was on the snow field, when the downhill hikers would ruin the uphill steps.

So I figure we need about five lanes of traffic: ski tracks, snowshoe tracks, uphill steps, downhill steps, and glissade (butt sliding) runs... and maybe another lane for guys who just like to posthole. ha ha....
And don't forget about the lane for the 'biles.

Amusing thread. Has anyone gotten more upset by reading in this thread than they do following poop/pee/posthole-filled skin tracks?

As someone said well above, it's all good.

This topic has got me thinking, I think the problem is skin tracks always go the easy way up the hill, When a post hole just messes up the track thats no fun. But when its a croucher with knee marks and hand prints thats cool. I'll pause for a look at that, than you know the post hole show is almost over
