I've used Stubia's on my T2 boots for at least 7 years and they've worked great.  I walk and climb on rocks with them all the time, and they have held up fine.  I have the step-in version which I like, but I've also seen the strap-in model with a different heel piece which is good for softer boots.  I woudn't use them for a really steep ice climb, but for 90% of the Cascade climbs I do, they are perfectly fine.  In combination with the Ski-Alp  crampon, it's a great set up.  I bought mine from Jim Nelson and would recommend talking with him about the latest models  and what's available. www.promountainsports.com/crampons.shtml
