Skiing With Silas

I saw Silas this morning but did not have the chance to ski with him. He was departing the shuttle at Silver Fir, I was loading my gear into my car to head to Alpental. Must be some sort of displacement principle at work...

Nonetheless, he chided me for choosing ride-on/ride-off laps in the bottomless schmoo of Silver Fir over what was assuredly better conditions in the Alpental valley. I just didn't have any more standing around in line left in me...

Skied a few feet with him at Silver Fir yesterday and also rode the chair with him. The early morning's fun in the untracked and semi-tracked at Alpental w/o the aid of Vitamin I was clearly taking its toll on his bum knee by early afternoon when the fog finally started lifting a little from the top of Central.

Skied with Silas today!

I was fortunate to share a lap down l'Internationale this morning with Silas. We both agreed, the right side skied great!

I enjoyed two chair rides and skied two runs at Mission Ridge chair one with Silas yesterday at the WWSRA Demo. He displayed his PH D in Verbosity regarding how fast he had to go to get his 130 FLEX Demo boots to make his skis turn.
