Glad to see and ski with Silas today. Hope you got some BC laps with your buddies, seemed to be a few different folks looking for you.

This thread coulda got buried but the subject just keeps delivering.
Our hero loaded the padded seats today, minding his own business, tips up and everything! Ready for some things and eager to learn, Silas spotted a ski moments after loading and deciding he'd go for the grab. For a moment the execution was flawless but the next moment, gravity took ahold of our hero and slowly, ever so slowly the helpful Silas tipped off the padded seat and into the snow. Secure in health and utterly oblivious to the crowd below, he waded back to the lift, ski in tow, grabbed a single and headed back up to the Padded Seat terminus. Great Try Silas Great Try! Thank You for the inspiration and positive energy you provide, you are a good guy. Nice seeing you today!

Kind words Chris, thank you. The crowd was also very kind to forgive the delay I caused on the busiest day I have ever endured! 810-940am waiting for loading to begin in my TLT5P Thin Palau liners was chilly especially when the little breeze kicked up. Those boots are made for walking, not waiting.
The luckiest guy of the day was clearly the one who spotted my chair two antics on his final approach to the 20min lift line and cruised right in to assist me on my solo reload. The smartest guy was Morgan, who skinned to 5200' and skied Phantom Trees while we all stood around for 1.5hours.
After working hard descending the cut up deep snow down International in my flyweight uphill gear, I headed for Silver Fir Senior Center lunch and some ego boosting soft groomers to relax. Apologies to all for causing the delay this morning, sorry I still have not learned to leave challenging work to trained professionals.
Looks like we will have a great Cinqo party this year, and likely Solstice skiing too!
