SUCKED

Oh come on, We've seen worse.

Crystal got shorted overnight with only a scrim of new over nasty hard almost frozen. Only the warm temps that started out in the mid-30’s made the groomers at least manageable. Fun runs were had anyway. Seemed like a pretty low count crowd, so I’m guessing many folks headed to Snoq and Stevens where last night’s storm tracked and delivered. TomK & Kerry

no really it sucked..

Yadda yadda yadda it probably sucked in lots of places, but there is always something that sort of makes it almost not sucking...at least every time I have suffer a ski day (which is never)...like what was the soup of the day? (you know those White Choc cookies in CB lodge are pretty awesome). Did you ever have to stand in a lift line? Did the new fancy mega groomers do any good on anything? I already was pretty sure that anything off Piste today would SUCK! (Okay Marcus?)... but everyone always says its better than working (or sitting in a Hospital ER room with your parents or just plain doing stupid chores - gotta do those every once in a while - like today, pretty good day for me doing that kinda stuff)....I'm lookin forward to tomorrow - cell phone turned off, no crowds cause conditions aren't good - Yee Haaa.

Ok so yeah they did an ok job with the groomers, if you are into that sort of thing... There was some places were the wind didn't effect the overnight snow.. like a patch of wind blow pow inbetween the trees coming down from niagaras gate, but over d+ .. (it was sunny and as mentioned no lift lines).

To paraphrase my buddy Spiro....You pontificating prattler of positivity ddk. I showed true grit and skied the frozen groomers with chickenheads until 2:30 despite the rest of my posse retiring to the Elk in disgust at the ridiculously early hour of 1.30.

I even skied oft-piste because I enjoy a good beating and revel in misery.
