The big bonus about the lack of any good snow in the last couple of months is that the MT Bike trails are in primo condition, got a a good ride in today, sad part is how out of shape my lungs are from my lazy hamster type of skiing - hike? Uphill? Traverse for ever?  Ouch.

Ah, always pleased to see another dual-sport dog in the pack. Not to get too off-topic, but where have you been riding? I'm weighing touring vs. mtb with the boys tomorrow.

  Truly Thankyou all for the effort and attempts at suffering what sounds like a very unpleasant day...Elk might have been the thing to do a little earlier than normal today, or the Bullwheel - they got some pretty good beer and food up there.  But what was the soup?  Even Alpy is talking about soup reports and parking lot reports - didnt know they had that many parking lots?  Anyway thanks for the reports.

I actually had fun too, and with those firm conditions you could get a few runs in between 8:30 and 1:30!

The skiing was not great, but but it was fun to run with the crew again!

Of course TODAY the sun is splitting the bloody sky and the groomers will be nice and soft for ddk, maybe even some frontside mush.... I expect his report today will feature unicorns frolicking in the springlike corn. :'(
