And you get in good condition climbing up and down the hill in the tweener seasons when the road is not accessible. Like when there is not enough snow to get up there, but to much to open the access road. Or When they close the road early fall to prevent being snowed in.
It is great in the dead of Winter if the chair is running, or if you have a snowmo. Could get pretty spoiled for those ski months.

Some new lots have been scraped out up there though for development.
