Sleds required, or else a very long approach. I guess one could come up from 542, but you would start at 1800' elevation. As Toby T had eluded to....we had the use of sleds and accessed this area...

Yea.....we had a long day with a few minor sled issues with getting the sled over one of the slide paths....but otherwise a productive outing.
Came back from Rainy pass on Friday......saw a guy with skis on backpack riding a motorcycle......near Newhalem.....was that you? Rainy pass was also very nice! Thanks for the report..it looked entici...

Yeeaaaa.....If it makes you guys feel better..... these sled necks got busted big time yesterday at Schreiber Meadows. So.......there is some law enforement presence........it's just not as good...
