Thanks to those that stayed well away from the permit boundary...

Hi Pete. Nice to see your group and others out on such a nice day. My son and I came past you with fresh legs off the high traverse first - sorry about that ;). We found our least wind affected snow...

Hi Pat - I think I may have talked with you Sunday morning prior to your ski up Sandy Butte - I think we talked about Sandy and other sled assisted options up the hwy. My wife Teanna and I also stayed...
I love trips like these Lowell. Teanna and I have been extending our long weekend of skiing in Mazama here in Redmond - going on 7 days straight. I'm lucky to be able to work from home the past f...
Looks like a fun line. I've looked up it while touring back up. Seems like it would be difficult to get to the entrance - trouble? Mt Snoqualmie has so much good skiing...
Here is a photo from last spring on a tour relatively near Easy Pass off Hwy 20. That mitten is 12" long so that puts the tracks at about 14" x 10" or so.
Absolutely stunning photos Jason.
Great Photos of the N Side. Thanks for breaking trail most of the way up. The lower apron of the slot held the most wind protected snow. Lap 2 was actually better in the slot as the wind affected got...
Great trip report and photos Gary. I'm glad you were able to find a suitable weather window. I see your new AT skis are serving you very well given those nice looking turns on the Fryingpan!JK
Welcome down unda fellow seppo (My family and I've been in Melbourne for almost two years via the PNW - my last northern hemi turns were at the silverskis w/ Lowell). You've definitely hit t...

Eli, Eric and Drew - nice meeting you guys up there. This time of year is great - watch the weather, wait for cool temps and a bit of new snow and split after work. A quick three hour tour, some fresh...
No worries DP. Hey Stimbuck - hope all is well with the hwy crew - must be slow this year. Say hello to Gibb, Lee and Craig when you get a chance. Hopefully we'll see you soon up at Alpy.
Hi DP. There's a good chance that was me you were skiing with - two ships passing in the mist... "Middle aged dude" - that hurts ;) but rings true I guess... Assuming that was you breaking t...
Greg - I was on the same program the day before. Tried to get a "3-hour tour" in and still spend time with the family. The destination planned was the east face of the S Chair Peak Shoulder....
You had some good weather for your tour Lowell - I was participating in my son's Birthday Party on Sunday but at least I got to ski since the party was at Alpental! I was tempted by your earlier partn...
Different Twin Lakes Jason. The Twin Lakes that Greg skiied is in the Snoqualmie Pass Ghetto SE of Mt Catherine.Glad you had a good trip Greg. Hope there were no remnant tracks?
Alpentalcorey - good overview of the rescue but I do have one minor correction regarding run names. The bowl south of Pineapple is called "Fuck Bowl". At the risk of not being PC, the origin...
I'm not sure how long it will be before the power and sewer is restored - I've been out of the loop. You can bet Booth Creek wants it fixed ASAP so don't count on Alp being this season's touring mecca...
Hey MW88888. I think I saw you at Alp at the top of Ch 2 Thursday AM. I skinned up on my splitter ascending Ch 1 and then the ridge and was just getting to the top as you were talking with a patroler...
Sounds like it was pretty busy up there Saturday. Did any of you happen to see a couple of toddlers getting pulled up the ski area? My wife and I decided to try towing our boys, Stig-6 and Per-4, up H...
