Blewett is still such a mystery to me.Check out the backcountry skiing guidebook on the Wenatchee Outdoors website. Lots to chew on there.
Thanks for your bridge work for the community. Best wishes for the New Year!
Nice pics, dad! Kudos to Carl for sharing the love.
Avajane's got it right except for his spelling of Blewett. Been up the last couple of days in the Tronsen non-motorized zone just N of Blewett(!)Pass. There's an honest foot of new from last...
Just called Rainier dispatch. They say he's found. Expect an update tomorrow.
Great pics! Thanks for sharing.
Nice pics. I love the last one.

Skied a sunny Rd 800 from Swauk Pass toward old Blewett Pass yesterday. Big views from Bonanza Pk to Adams and west into the Stuarts. Finally good coverage down low with the higher basalt...
The Summit East Nordic center opens tomorrow for those of the XC persuasion. The upper trails should be great.
Betting a dollar these boots belong to someone in the Seattle/Pugetopolis corridor.

My buddies do but they don't post. It wasn't a good day for views and then we climbed up into a cloud. I can forward you a slideshow from last year's tour. Carl Simpson(Freebird) po...
Louis Ulrich, some kind of bad-ass climber from the 1930s. Lowell would have the poop on him.
Nice! Climbed this back in 1973 with the Olympic College climbing class with Kent Heathershaw, Harold Pinsch and a bunch of the Ur-Olympic Mountain Rescue crew. It was a 2-day trip for us. ...
Wow! Well played. Love the aurora pic!

Love the 2nd pic. Saw on the WSDoT website that all the passes were sunny while we languished under gloomy, overcast skies in Ellensburg. Nice skiing at the golf course, teaching a lesson.
Nice video. Note that you're stepping across the Inter Fork of the White River, probably ill-advised and/or dangerous on the main fork out of the Emmons.
Uh huh!
Nice to meet up you up there. Glad you got over to Esmeralda.

You might have caught it just right. A warm Chinook wind came up Sunday night and has melted most everything down low around here. I'm sad to see it go but it's like the snows of yesteryear....
Glad you're OK! Thanks for sharing.
Love the last pic!
