Nice Drew, most enjoyable read and memory trigger. Had one of my finest days in the mountains up there skiing a 3-fer many years ago with Monika.Lizard must be skied to be enjoyed.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am very happy that this had a happy outcome. It certainly makes me reflect on my own evaluations/decision making/terrain selection.
I am so happy that you are safe and sound and can gain and learn from this experience.During this dry period our area from Rainier to Baker has experienced a high rate of accidents resulting from slip...

only about a mile now to the trailhead. One carry (might be no carry in a day or two). Pilchuck skied nicely yesterday 5 pm.
Nice ! Went up on Thursday, a few less folks ;-) and skied to within 52 yards of the trailhead ;-)That is one massive conga line.
