Ron Jarvis and I braved the forecast today and layed down our turns under forboding sky and very gusty winds. The Paradise patch under Mclure rock was our palette. Accessed through icy Golden Gate trail. Snow was a hob goblin mix but nobody fell. Ron did extremely well with his usual good humor given what he's been through.
Saw a bear on the way out in Edith basin. We were totally surprised by the lack of skiers? ;)
The rain started as we pulled out of the lot. Should be some freshies up that way tomorrow.
