Skied the Nisqually chutes today in near 60 degree temps with Siri, Becca, and Fitz. We all started climbing in tee shirts and didn't put on a long sleeve shirt until above Pan Point. The winds kicked up at around 7.5k, but it was so warm gloves and jacket were unnecessary until lunch at our our turn-around point.
The snow in the chute was about half an hour past perfect corn, but who can complain about 2000' of near perfect snow (followed by another 2000' of more sloppy snow), shared with friends, on a scarily spectacular February day? The ski down to the bridge was uneventful and spectacular.
Saw Amar in the parking lot, and a group of three of his friends skiing the Fuhrer Finger from a (very long) distance.

Looking up at rainier yesterday on the way home near sunset, the mountain looked so wonderfully brilliant. Hearing that the conditions were nice really increases the pain and suffering of having to work on such a great day especially after such horendous conditions further south over the weekend.
