Almost too deep to ski - waist+. Fairly uniform snow with depth, no instability noted. Snow wasn't super light. Alpental spun lifts just before 10, 2 was still closed when we left at 11.
A zoo, a complete zoo.  Wishing I didn't waste my morning for a couple of runs.

I'm considering heading up for some powder by headlamp this evening.

After you powder princesses left, Alpental rallied with the reopening of Chair 2, and NO LINE at either lift all the way until close.  Precip let up as well.  It was a complete ghost town, with some lovely stashes that lasted well into the afternoon.

Hag, the quality of those 2 runs nearly justifies the queue, no? :)

Showed up at noon and found fresh tracks, awesome afternoon on 2!

Glad y'all got it :).

Yes the 2 runs were good, very good in fact.  However I could have got more vert skinning and some exercise although maybe not in those conditions on much other than Hyak.  I might stick to my dawn patrols whens things calm down a bit.
