we accompanied kyle miller and his friend jake hase, videographer for crystal mtn resort, and filmed as they climbed the fly yesterday ... right now all i have to show are these photos of mine .. maybe kyle will add to the thread regarding conditions when he returns fm his latest great adventure today .. anyhow lane looked pretty grueling imo (waist deep bootpacking) ... but totally awesome too ..

I agree that photo (and others on the link) is amazing. That was some of the harder bootpacking I encountered this season, waist deep the whole way up.
It was my first time on Lane but I had drooled at the line for years.

love the perspective you have there. Wish more photographers would work on postioning themselves like that instead of traveling with their subjects for the close up action shots.
