We Love You Brenda

This is so sad!! Jeff and I just met Brenda for the first time a month ago on the Silcox Hut/Mt Hood trip. She was so friendly to me, we talked about skiing the the Tatoosh and I really sensed her love of the mountains. And we talked about trying to keep up with "our men" and I really sensed her love for you. Our condolences to you,

Brenda always seemed to be having so much fun in the mountains. I remember her seeing her skiing in sloughing spring glop at Heather Pass one May a few years back. She was giggling nervously but stayed in control for the ride. I am sorry I never got to know her.

Mike you were lucky to have had such a formidable partner, what a terrible loss...

Wow. I'm stunned with this sad news. Brenda was a bright smile on many outings with TAY events.

She was particularly encouraging to me when I joined the Slush Cup crew, even unable to ski due to my recent shoulder injury. I enjoyed talking with her from my perch on the rocks. And she looked after me on the hike out as well. Keep looking after us, Brenda.

Mike, I 'm so sorry for your loss.  I can't imagine how painful to lose a life partner.  I talked to you briefly at the Castle Saddle last Winter, and thought I'd be talking to Brenda soon.

Keep skiing for her, I'm sure all TAYers will be with you.
