SLUSH CUP TIME -- 8/16!!

Hi -- Had a great time.  Great weather, fun people and wild skiing. Sounds like I had to leave before the scarey part started.  Beautiful day and fun tradition.

The party definitely had Darwinian moments. Glad no one got up the nerve to build a kicker this year.

Personally I wouldn't bother dragging that much weight that high up the mountain. Unless you're spending a lot of time looking for something hard to find, like say, my sunglasses, a diver should be able to hold his breath easily. If the diver really wants it, then hey... as long as I'm not carrying it.

On the other hand, I might be convinced to carry a few gallons of homebrew up next year. The stuff I had in the parking lot went real fast; next year I'll try to invent a special recipe just for the event. "Jump in the Lake Ale" ?

This was our first Slush Cup, we had a great time. Since we live in Port Angeles and don't get over to the Cascades too often, it was great to have an opportunity to meet many of you!

The idea of a wetsuit, makes a lot of sense. "Guard duty" could be shared between several people so that no one had to miss out on the fun. I would be happy to bring mine along next year.
