Be a dork, I don't care. You can wear hockey pajama onesies, a helmet with a beak and loud green ski pants if you ever need to use your rescue skills when I'm around.

But remember that real buddies don't share beacons, and leave your gloves on when your digging in snow. 

That was hard to watch. It's another good reminder to practice with your partners.

I'm speechless... Glad he turned out OK.. But those guys should be embarrassed. Pure ignorance..

Well, they weren't completely unprepared -- the helmet cam worked. I wonder if maybe they might consider trading one of their transceivers for a shovel handle. I don't think these folks could have effected a transceiver search if needed.
