I can only imagine how fun it must have been at mid-day this past week to try to drive either way on the road past the Kendall Knob/Lakes/Stump trailhead porta potties out toward Gold Creek/Rampart/Margaret parking. The holidaze hilarities were already bad there a decade ago; with the recent rush to the hills and all the social media posts touting Gold Creek "Lake" as a destination I'm thinking a LOT of brand new snowshoes headed that way after Xmas...

I've been thinking of spray painting "Free Parking 9a-4p" in my parking spot on days I drive elsewhere to ride. At least it would keep the berm at bay as the county tends to avoid plowing-in vehicles most days. Last time I checked, there are no restrictions on such activity by the HOA...
