High Campbell no more

Hadn't heard the term Jump Line before either. Correct me if I'm wrong but from what Jason4 says I'm thinking its a series of jumps/features built from piled up snow for doing aerial tricks or what ever. I did notice the jump line(?) last week under Forest Queen that hadn't been built there for some years. Aerial acrobatic series jumps were first used around 1971 by the original freestyle skiing circuit sponsored by Chevy. I saw them in Sun Valley and Vail back then. There will be a reunion and recognition of these original "hotdog" skiers, (Wayne Wong et, al) in Park City during Ski Hall of Fame week ~April 1-6.

I'm going to stick with my belief that if it weren't for splitboarding then backcountry monoskiing would never have caught on.

Yeah, but BC mono skiing could never have been imagined without Nordic boarding.
