Hey everyone, thanks for your interest and patience. This weeks race is still up in the air, I will update the day before at the latest when I know if it's a go or no go. The big sticking point right now is waiting on the green light from the ski area, they happen to be kind of busy this week, first week open and all. Last year since the races were just word of mouth with a small group of friends the ski area had no issues with the small numbers that would show up. This year, since I have chosen to "advertise" the series , and since I do want it to be a success, I want to make sure everything is good to go with the ski area. Besides growing the sport, another main reason for the series is to hopefully create a more open and clear understanding between uphill skiers and the ski area. So stay tuned, stay patient and hopefully we'll be racing soon!

Will there be a telemark division?

No Ed, there will not be any hippies allowed, split boarders, park skiers, mega watt wielders, even spandex clad euro types, but no tele. Haha, just kidding, of course, all are welcome, even paramarkers with puffers!

Brandon, any word on the race tomorrow? Just wondering if i need to bring my ski gear to work in the Am or not.

It's a no go for tomorrow's race, keep checking in, there is a chance of a Silver Peak race this weekend, and next week we will have a race for sure.
