IMHO, as far as content and data go, NWAC can't be beat. I am, however, irked that the mobile site ( m.nwac.us ) is no more. That was an invaluable tool for me as well as for several of my touring buddies who live and work in Snoqualmie pass. I reached out to them about the deprecation of the mobile site, I'll let you know what I hear back.

Additionally, several of the links to accident summaries are wrong :(

Super pretty please, the data in raw text.

That lets the largest number of clients-cheap mobile phones, etc. get the information. It also lets anyone whose client can't parse your formatting access the data. Don't restrict access!

Please!

[Edit to add, it looks great on a real computer, nice work! But please consider mobile users. You don't need to chase client appearance on every possible device if the raw data is available.]

+1 for mobile / raw data. Weather and avy forecasts and telemetry data are what I look at. Please make these easy to access even with low bandwidth.

I heard back from the folks at NWAC re: reviving the "old" m.nwac.us site/experience. As promised, here's their response, offered without further comment:

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for your feedback.  We are working on addressing this issue.  Note that the new site does display the entire website in a mobile friendly way which is hopefully an improvement…though we hear you regarding the need for a faster, simpler interface for key information.

The overall new look and new information is nice.

The navigation is horrid though, especially for checking different telemetry sites. I usually check about 7 different sites around the area. What used to take 8 clicks now takes 35. On mobile, it went from about 16 to 42 clicks.

Bring back the old lightweight mobile website (or something even lighter) for minimum data use requirements.

I'm going to miss the danger rose. Especially the black eye of death. That was efficient imagery. Trying to find the switch in my brain that will use the treeline zone descriptors. My brain is wired for elevations.

The nice thing about the rose was that it had a bunch of information in one symbol. One glance. Now that same info is spread out among three symbols and a lot of scrolling. Maybe at the top of the forecast there could be one mountain symbol representing all zones with the corresponding danger painted on? A rainbow mountain.

Still your biggest fan NWAC.
