I'm sorry to hear about his untimely passing. I hope neither you nor he needed to suffer too much in the endgame. Looks like he had the sort of husky spirit that you no doubt very much deserve to have accompanying you, Chris .

When we lost our beloved ski tour pal Max back in '04, someone else here posted this quote for me, which I very much appreciated, so I'll pass it forward:

HA! YES he was a powder line snake and a poacher that's for sure.
I have to pick up his ashes today and I'm not sure where I'm going to spread them yet.

I may wait till next winter and spread them down one of his favorite powder poaches.
