Ha! There were at least that many snomos parked at the "Powder Cache" (aka Cedar Creek) when I was out there 3 weeks ago during the last high pressure window. Sounds normal to me. Appreciate the reports, please keep em coming!

Check out Spire Gully for a natural release sighting, then head south to the Prayer Panty Tree. You can see the 5 skier triggered realeases from there. If you need directions let me know. Good hunting. There was an avi. awarness class at Cedar creek, a couple weeks ago. Powder Cache is further west . X

I was with, observed or talked to most of the "skier triggered" triggers. (did three days straight there) There was fright involved but no other consequences known. Slabs have been in confined areas, steep breakovers high in the bowls and have stopped in short distance with not much debris. Most of last week's snow seems stuck well. Winds are affecting open and higher areas. Caution of course on bigger slopes esp. South facing.
Jeff, I know X personally and value his thoughts in person. However, I have found little of value in his posts here even when I figure out what he is trying to say! I hope you can just ignore them.
X, sorry pal, I'm just speaking from my experience. By the way did you apply for the Snow Skate Park franchise at the hairpin? And where the heck is that tree???! Are you witholding lore?!
P.S. The triggers were all locals, offspring of locals or touring with locals. I doubt any of them were here because of Jeff's valuable posts. By the way, better communication from the commercial operators was one of the things ASKED for by locals during last year's mutilation debacle!

Sorry I didn't see this earlier and thanks for the reasonable responses. I removed one post because this is, again, not the place to have some large scale discussion about commercial guiding. Please do not turn it into that.

Lame. Negative feedback is good feedback. I wish you guys understood that. X's message is valid and censoring it is BS.
