Can you edit your list and add in shorter skis too?
Don't forget falling makes you better too!

Good list, but honestly I think that list has some input that everyone can use. Granted it may not work for all of us, but look at it, find what works for you in your style and apply it. Though I always say this, in climbing, running or anything else. If you want to get better, hang out with people who are better.

Surprised I'm the first to mention this, but in my opinion skiing is all about body position. Pretty much every pointer I give to a weaker skier involves working on some portion of their position.

You want to emulate the 'athletic position' (google it)
You can see your hands all the time and your hands aren't moving around much at all.
Your shoulders stay facing down the fall line.
You are looking down the run - not at your ski tips.

Get someone to record your skiing and review your body position. Compare it to videos of good skiers. Make tweaks.

Try to only think about one 'tweak' at a time. People don't multitask well and this applies to skiing as much as anything else. If you're trying to do 8 things at once you're going to look like a robot out there. For one run think about keeping your feet shoulder width apart. The next run think about your hands and keeping them forward and steady.

I think for most weaker skiers focusing on their hand position is the one nearly universal thing that always needs improvement.
