Monoski invented at Hyak

A new video has surfaced which dates the monoski to its earliest known existence which was the later 1950's at Hyak. A kid named Dennis Phillips modified a single water ski and the ski area allowed him to ski the hill. Very fun and cool video if your into history stuff. Plus its cool that the monoski roots appear to start at Hyak!

Reminds me of a reoccurring historical snippet that runs in TNT every few years...circa 1930 "Two Stadium High School Students Tackle Carbon River Gorge on Homemade Surfboards."
