Any low hanging fruit -found it! was created by wooley12
Just relocated from CNY to the PNW. 4 weeks of XC auto travel (yes, it was AWSOME!!! ) has taken what little fitness I had. Looking for beta on the best (easiest) snow access so I can make some turns. Artist Point?

I can't speak from first-hand knowledge, but I remember that the most recent trip report from the area (
www.turns-all-year.com/skiing_snowboardi...ex.php?topic=25501.0
) suggested that Artist Point was getting pretty thin (depending on how long you want your turns to be!), though some surrounding areas might be decent for a bit longer.

Thanks. Saw that. Maybe we'll head for Paradise. Closer and the hike will be a good way to start getting the legs back.

North Bend will be the home base for my "No Sweat -Low Adrenalin" back country ski adventures.

The lines above Bagley Lakes basin and below Artist Point will have something.
I saw a report a couple weeks ago saying there was snow near the car by Silver Peak up at Snoqualmie, but I don't know anything about the route. Search in July TRs?
From Paradise, one option is the snowfields below Castle-Pinnacle saddle in the Tatoosh.
We skied the Paradise Glacier the 12th (see TR). About 1.5 miles from 4th Stream to snow just past the Sluiskin Memorial stone bench. There are short moderate slopes below the glacier proper. Watch for holes where the creeks are opening.
All these should deliver at least a few hundred feet vert with reasonable ski-boot carries and hiking in sneakers, but you'd best chase the snow before this heat makes the slopes shrink even more! Go get those August turns
