Glacier Peak beta? Conditions

That was a kick-ass report.  I did a (sort-of) similar trip last year but only climbed and skied on Glacier Peak.  Their inclusion of Tenpeak and Kololo makes good sense.  I'm all jacked up to follow their route but with skis.  Of course I don't understand why anyone would make this circuit without skis    

As I skinned past a climber on Mt. Adams a few weeks ago she said, "must be a lot of work with all that extra weight." I replied, "It must be a lot of work walking back down the mountain." Climbing a peak without skis, especially a nontechnical line, very much confuses me.

Back to the thread at hand, Glacier has been on the list since I moved to the PNW 12 years ago. Unfortunately it will have to wait another year, but it's the primary objective for early summer 2013.
